In a word, April can be summed up as – disastrous. It was chaotic because it was the last month of the spring semester so teachers were piling on work, and finals were around the corner. I felt like I was drowning. My stress levels were through the roof, and my depression and anxiety “came in like a wrecking ball.” So needless to say, my reading month was lacking. I was only able to read short books, which were mostly poetry collections.
